IncredibLi A70F by Tonton Buddy
Project Log: Here
Another relatively new member of our forum is Tonton Buddy. He stole our attention with an interesting case mod based around a Lian Li A70F - the interesting part being how he's managing to squeeze so much water-cooling hardware into the case.
A popular mod with this case is to fit a triple 120mm-fan radiator in the roof. It's a fairly large case and this alteration doesn't pose a problem - Tonton Buddy completed this early on in his project, which began in March. However, to spice up the design a bit, he used a triple 140mm-fan an EK CoolStream RAD XTC 420 radiator instead.
Various internal panels have been added or modified as we can see above. The front 120mm fans have been removed to make way for two EK CoolStream RAD XTC 280 radiators in a sandwich configuration, drawing in air from one side of the case and exhausting it out the other.
Here's that section from further back, and we also get a glimpse of a great-looking cut-out for an SSD in the mid section plate. In a slightly later shot, Tonton Buddy has also added various cable-routeing holes.
The mesh in the side panels, which hides the radiators beneath it, is beautifully flush with the rest of the case, and Tonton Buddy is also in the process of adding a custom rheobus and display to the case.
We can't wait to see how IncredibLi A70F pans out. Head over to our
